I started drawing what I was thinking because it did sound like a fun thing to just draw. I will take a pic after I get some more done, if it turns out cool I will probably do a big stipple version on canvas. Needed a new art project anyways  |

And it would make a nice canvas painting actually.
I planned on starting a new project tonight too! I got a new board yesterday and it needs to be painted on the bottom.
I kinda would like to do something from KKC, but I also thought it would be cool to do something from Dr. Who...so I'm torn at the moment LOL!
Do you do a lot of artwork?

I use to do a lot more, but yeah I still do when I have the time. Been getting into photography lately but still like to draw and stuff.

I wish I could draw, but the only thing I'm even halfway decent at is stick figures. I really look forward to seeing the drawing.
I had another idea for the tattoo last night. Instead of having all that stuff going on that I mentioned in my last idea, what do you all think of just the Cthaeh, and a rendition of Kvothe sitting on one side of the trunk, and a rendition of Hailax on the other? These wouldn't be really detailed, probably just side profiles of them sitting down, but I think it would be a lot clearer to communicate this idea than it would the other idea to an artist. What do you all think?
Also, just as a side note, did any of you happen to catch the news about what 20th Century Fox is going to do?

That would be an easier thing to adapt into an arm piece that isn't too cluttered. I like it.

I agree, that would be a much simpler thing to turn into a tattoo and still fits well with the quote. I actually really like it, the picture in my head feels right.
Plus, it's a cool balance to have those characters on either side of Ctheah. If you think about it, they are ultimately connected by the Ctheah's words.
I think it could provoke a strong emotion from anyone who sees it and is a fan of the series. I give it two thumbs up.

That's the type of reactions I was hoping for. I appreciate the feedback. Like you said Ivory, when it came into my head, something about it just felt right. This will definitely be the idea I go with.
Ivory, I remember you mentioning something about getting with some artists over on deviantart to come up with a picture. Are there any you suggest? That is of course unless anyone on the forum is will to draw up something in their spare time.
