Since she doesn't have her own thread (but her ring does haha) I'll ask this question here-
Does anybody think that there will be parallels between Iax+Lunis and Kvothe+Denna? So many people talk about the theory that Denna is the moon or somesuch, though I never understood that theory clearly, but I'm curious if anyone thinks Iax's three questions to the moon are similar to Kvothe's "seduction" of Denna. Instead of asking for sex with Lunis, Iax asks for her name. I totally think that's what Kvothe is doing by learning Denna deeply and trying to understand her instead of trying to seduce her. With Denna's fear of being controlled...
Countertheory - I actually like this one more- Kvothe+Denna is a parallel with Lyra+Lanre. Notice my order there! From her fight in the alley we know Denna is a fighter, and obviously Kvothe is a powerful namer. What if he's her Lyra? The scene that really made me suspect this is the one in Tarbean where he saves her life. He says he calls the name of the wind to save her, but he's looking in her eyes as he does it and he's seeing HER. I think he is calling Denna's name, the same way Lyra called Lanre's when she saved him. This would set the stage for Denna's betrayal, and Kvothe would be 'lost' when Kote takes his place. I haven't really fleshed this one out, though. Anyone else gone down this rabbit hole to see where it leads?

I've not thought about that... Also, I totally cannot remember him saving her in Tarbean?? Is it during WMF?
I keep getting the feeling that Denna is dead... for some reason.

Yeah it is at the end of WMF when he goes to Tarbean to pay debts and over hear stories from his adventures earlier in the book. She gets swept into an inn he is at by a panicked gentleman and K speaks the name of the wind to put air back in her lungs
