Yah, I use the same username everywhere pretty much. So if you see an IvoryDoom thats likely me, and if its not, well kick 'em where it hurts for me. I've had a few impersonaters and that is annoying!
Definitely love doing the forum on books I've read, so totally understand, it's a great motivater to read more. I pretty much fell into the same habit except on Goodreads. So High Five us.

I look forward to interacting with all of you! We look forward to having you with us.  Ivory Doom I know how you feel several times I've had people try to impersonate me. I've been lucky to get the official "Velthur" username on all my sites however there's been people who've taken my name and added things to it to try and pass themselves off as me. I've actually looked into seeing if I can get the online username "Velthur" copyrighted. I know it's possible I just haven't had the money. :/ |

Hello!  I've been a lurker too, on Goodreads... I'd totally like to partecipate more... but since english is not my mother language, I find it too overwhelming to manage... and sometimes I also don't understand well  But I really do love KKC, I'll try to be active and improve my english! Let's hope many others find their way here, from Goodread's forum... we have so many things to discuss together!

Scott - yah, its quite annoying when someone tries to impersonate you. I didn't know you could copywrite a username, I might actually look into that since I do participate in a lot of online stuff for our niche here, plus, I just hate when I go to register that name and someone else is using it, I sometimes really suspect that someone has stolen it from me just to be a jerkoff. LOL alexiel - dont be shy, your english seems fine to me. Sometimes we might get a few errors but clarification usually isn't to difficult so long as no one is too embarrassed to ask! Also, kudos in figuring out the book in english, I can only imagine how long that might have taken LOL! Hows Italy this time of year? I've always considered moving there! EDIT: I have no idea why my name tags are suddenly not working....sorry bout that.

Thank you to you both! The name tag is working, I've found two notifications in my profile panel Ivory Doom the time here is pretty hot and sunny, perfect to enjoy a day on the beach! Where I live (near the mountains in the north, quite far away from the sea....) the weather is enjoyable too, but less hot. |

Alexiel, you're in one of my favorite parts of Italy. I studied in Verona in college and had a chance to tour some non-touristic cities and your neighborhood was one of my favorites. Are you near Alto Adige?

displacement yes!! I was born near the Dolomites and I'm now studying in Turin. I'm surprised, but really glad, that you've been on tour in Alto Adige! Verona is a beautiful and elegant city, I have a couple of friends there...did you enjoy your time here?
